Light & Becoming
who are you becoming in the light?
Near the summer solstice, when the days are longest and the light most generous, we gather in one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in the Bay Area for an afternoon of movement, stillness, and somatic integration. This is not a workout and not a worship service. It is something harder to name — an invitation to arrive more fully in your own life.
Resonance & Renewal brings together three guides whose practices converge at the intersection of body, breath, and becoming. No particular beliefs required. Spiritual, secular, and skeptical people are equally welcome — and equally at home here.
Yoga & Movement
A full 60-minute yoga practice designed to release tension held in the body and open the nervous system to rest. Accessible to all levels. Rondy’s teaching is grounded, warm, and community-rooted.
Somatic Integration
Drawing on polyvagal theory and TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), Diana guides participants into the window of integration that opens after sustained movement — when the body is most receptive to change.
Contemplative Practice
Qigong-informed movement and grounding presence to open the afternoon and close it in silence. Laurie’s practice draws from 25 years of interfaith chaplaincy, grief work, and contemplative community.
A Beautiful Space
Skyline Sanctuary sits in the Oakland Hills with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Bay. The space itself does half the work — you have only to arrive.

Resonance & Renewal is a contemplative series offered through Skyline Sanctuary for people who are spiritually hungry but not necessarily churched — those who long for depth, community, and embodied practice outside the walls of traditional religion.
Each gathering follows the turning of the seasons.
