Skyline UCC Outreach: Sierra Leone

In the fall of 2007, Skyline Community Church started fundraising to help build a school for children in Mokomray. Due to the generous donations of church members and the wider community, progress has been made and the children now have a new school in which to learn and thrive! In the past few autumns, Skyline had held a Bike Fun-Raiser, which in part has funded the building of a school, teachers’ salaries, and even a partial college scholarship. Folks from the area have come out to enjoy beautiful scenery & do something healthy, while also raising funds to contribute to children’s education. 100% of the proceeds from the ride go back to these children. Our Bike Fun-Raiser has been a great success!
