The Reverend Laurie J. Manning joined Skyline Church in 2006. She holds respective Master’s degrees from Union Theological Seminary (Columbia U), Harvard University, and the University of Michigan. Prior to serving Skyline church, Laurie also served on the staffs of Hillcrest Congregational Church, First Congregational Church in Berkeley and Riverside Church in New York City. Laurie has also served on the University Religious Council of Churches at UC/Berkeley to foster greater support and understanding of religious differences within the student and faculty body. This position included Christianity in dialogue with other faith traditions, such as Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, and other faiths. Prior to her ordination, Laurie worked in various management capacities for Hewlett Packard’s Medical Products division, and then as a consultant with high technology and medical clients. Laurie brings a solid understanding of the psychological and organizational complexities of living as a Christian in today’s pluralistic and scientific world. More about Rev. Office Manager Monica Contreras

Monica Contreras is the Office manager at Skyline Community Church. She has over 12 years of administrative experience in office management, human resources, and accounting. She is a first-generation college graduate and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CSU East Bay. Outside of work, she loves being a mom to her toddler. They love to make arts & crafts together and explore different parks.
Director of Music Adam Green

Oakland native Adam Green, comes to us having graduated from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in Stockton CA with dual degrees in Viola and Voice. Adam currently serves as the Director of Music at Skyline High School of Oakland. In addition to a robust teaching schedule, Adam also maintains an active and eclectic performing schedule with many ministries, ensembles, recording and musical projects throughout the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Central Valley Regions. Accompanist Robert Finucane

Robert Finucane is an Oakland-based keyboardist, audio engineer, producer, songwriter, piano teacher, and keyboard technician. A lifelong musician, he is grateful to have made his passion his profession since 2013. He began his career in Los Angeles before moving to the Bay Area, where he acts as a catalyst for the progressive music scene in any way he can.

Event Coordinator Jannett Contreras
Jannett Contreras is Skyline Community Church’s wedding coordinator (contractor). She will assist with tours and will be your host for your wedding. Jannett
has 5 years of event experience and previously worked at the Jewish Community Center and for Hensley Events. In her spare time, Jannett enjoys to travel, exercise, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
