Weddings

The sanctuary of Skyline Community Church is like having an outdoor wedding – only better, because everyone is comfortable! The soaring wood paneled ceiling and spectacular glass wall are impressive by day and becomes absolutely stunning at night; the feeling is intimate and personal.

Contemporary in design, the Sanctuary features comfortable chairs and a movable alter platform, allowing for various seating configurations accommodating up to 200 seated guests. It can also accommodate a more intimate group.

Our pipe organ remains one of the few pneumatic organs in use in the Bay Area.  This instrument may be played by our Music Director or your qualified organist.  The sound is dramatic, to say the least, and adds a tremendous depth to your music selections.  Also available is a grand piano. The Sanctuary also can be arranged for a harpist, choir or string quartet.  Although this space is acoustically alive, we do have microphones available for use; which include a lapel microphone and three hand-held (or stand held) wireless microphones.  You are welcome to contact our Music Director, Adam Green. Having a friend or relative who is musically talented play for you is a wonderful way to add another layer of meaning to your wedding day.

We provide a Wedding Coordinator, who will assist you with vendors, organize the rehearsal and support you the day of your wedding – to make sure the Sanctuary is perfect, light and temperature controls are set and that everything runs smoothly on your special day.

We value all faith backgrounds and welcome your pastor, priest, rabbi or other spiritual leader to officiate. Also, Pastor Laurie Manning is available to create a special, personalized ceremony for couples of all faiths and backgrounds.

Our facilities are ideal and our prices are reasonable. Your wedding includes our lovely 2+ acre setting, with lots of parking,  a wedding coordinator,  6+ hours for rehearsal and ceremony, separate spacious changing rooms for bride and groom and our lovely gardens for pictures.  Our unique bell tower bell is often rung by couple to start their ceremony. Skyline is quiet and private – the perfect setting for your magical day!

We’ll gladly arrange a tour, or come to a 10am Sunday service and see the setting, hear the acoustics and envision it set up for the day of your wedding! You can check availability at skylineucc.org/calendar and get more details from our Wedding Coordinator at 510-679-7437.
