Green Team Events: Once a month, gardening lovers meet on Saturdays to tend the beautiful grounds here at Skyline. We have regular meetings to focus our efforts, we attend rallies in the Oakland area for environmental justice. Read more…
Hiking Fellowship Group: Every Thursday in the late afternoon, we gather at the Trudeau center to hike for fun and health. Read more…
Meditation Group: Twice a month we meet for prayer and meditation.
Labyrinth Walking: Groups frequently gather after worship, especially during the solstice, equinox, and the seasons of advent and lent to walk in meditation on our beautiful labyrinth overlooking East Bay Regional Parks and Mt. Diablo.
Inquirer’s Sessions: Learn more about the UCC, Skyline Community Church membership, and about how you can get involved at a lunch and learn gathering, held throughout the year. Contact Pastor Laurie.
Outings: We gather for outings to attend musical performances, visit area museums, restaurants, and take part in street fairs and celebrations.
Movies: We view & discuss films about environmental (learn more), social justice (learn more), and films relevant to our spiritual and social missions. Our evening often includes a potluck dinner.
Music: Our choir meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 am for rehearsal. All ages and singing abilities and folks with musical instruments are welcome. Read more…
