Sierra Leone School Project

The village of Mokomray, Sierra Leone, suffered great loss of life as well as schools due to the civil war that raged there for many years. In the fall of 2007 Skyline Community Church started fundraising to help build a school for children. Due to the generous donations of church members and the wider community, progress has been made and the children now have a new school in which to learn and thrive! Almost every year we hold a fund-raiser; often a Bike Fun-Raiser, which supports the salaries  for teachers  and supplies for 40 children between the ages of preschool to high school from Makomray and the surrounding villages.  It’s very exciting!
